Welcome back to my channel I'm, giving you the top places you need to be visiting in dc, it's totally different from the monuments guys.

(Video) 6 Unique Places To Visit In Washington DC | Things To Do In Washington DC | Washington DC

I know every time someone thinks about dc.

They only think about the national monuments, but there's so much more to this place than that.

So I want you guys to come along with me on a tour as I give you some of my favorite spots, the first one we're heading to is georgetown, and we are going to the creepy ass exorcist staircase.

If you happen to be a huge fan of the 1973, horror, film cult classic the exorcist.

Then this is the place for you to visit.

I promise, you I'm, a huge fan of the exorcist is like one of the scariest movies to this day that I've ever seen in my entire life and one of the scenes that is most pivotal in the movie is towards the end when the catholic priest falls down a flight of stairs after an act of self-sacrifice, he takes a demon inside of him, and he throws himself down a flight of stairs.

Well, those stairs are right here in washington dc, love it.

This place is on prospect and it's incredibly spooky.

I mean, I can't even imagine coming here in the middle of the night and seeing what's up, honestly, it just is that creepy in the daytime.

And these stairs are so steep guys.

I can't, wait for you to see it.

I couldn't believe that this was right in my backyard.

Basically, I love the fact that like I said, the exorcist is like one of my favorite movies of all time.

It's, definitely my favorite horror.

So that was pretty cool.

And guess what you get to take some amazing instagram snaps right here.

So if you happen to be a big fan of the transformers franchise or bumblebee, you are going to fall in love with this house in georgetown.

I promise you.

I was on my way to the exodus steps.

And I saw these wonderful creations behind me.

And the best part is, I just met the creator whose name is newton, and I guess he's getting accustomed to everybody coming past his house, but the creations are just phenomenal.

And you guys have to see it I'm just going to show you all the footage from these beautiful beautiful animations, whatever you call them the beautiful.

You guys.

This is definitely one of the places you need to come.

If you want to take photos in georgetown, I am telling you you will not regret it, especially if you're a transformers or bumblebee, fan you're going to enjoy these picks.

And here are a few of my own.

Another fan favorite here in georgetown dc is the call your mother deli.

It is pink.

It is green.

It is the dream of many instagramers to come here and take photos in the front of the spot.

It is absolutely beautiful it's close right now.

But I want to show you guys what it looks like and there's, usually a line of girls waiting to take photos in the front of the green door.

So let me just show you.

I really do like this place because it's so colorful, it's just so feminine.

And I can see why a lot of girls would come here like these chicks over here.

Take a long walk.

Okay.

Please tell me why I'm walking like I forgot to oil, my joints like for real for real.

One of my favorite things to do in georgetown is really just to walk through the area.

It is so beautiful and picturesque.

And I love the historical buildings.

I love everything about this area so don't sleep on the fact that you can walk this to different spots and see houses.

And of course, people watch it's incredible.

And of course, one of the places that seems to be a hot ticket item is none other than georgetown cupcake.

This place is a real draw.

I've never so full disclosure.

(Video) 20 Essential Tips for a First Visit to Washington, DC

I have never had a cupcake from georgetown cupcake.

I've been to georgetown several times and every single time I come, and I stand on the line.

It just does not move it's that popular.

Apparently, they have great flavors and people are just really excited about them.

So I stood on the line for a few minutes to see if it was going to move.

It did not so yeah, your girl had to come off of that line.

So, but look at the crowd, look at these people lined up.

I also like taking in the architecture, looking at all these charming homes in the area.

And look at those fun facts in the corner of the screen too just.

So you can learn a little bit more about dc, but I love strolling through the area and just taking in the sights and people watching.

And of course, just falling in love with these homes.

A lot of these homes are very expensive in georgetown, but we're gonna head on over to the holy trinity parish.

The holy trinity parish is the oldest standing church in dc.

I love that on this parish.

It had a lot of great positive messages.

Just showing solidarity with the black community love it, I love houses that have flower pots, and I absolutely love houses that have their doors painted certain colors.

My home back in the bahamas was painted.

The door was painted red.

So I'm always attracted to vibrant hues.

Another place that I discovered was this memorial garden at first.

I thought it was just some rich person's backyard.

But as I walked in, I started to realize this was no ordinary place.

This is like a little mini park and an oasis really in the middle of the city, it's really away from a lot of the hustle and bustle.

(Video) 20 Common Washington DC Tourist Mistakes

Nobody was here the day I went while in the park I learned that it was a memorial for those individuals whose lives were lost in 9 11.

Do attack of the killer cicadas, a cicada don't, forget to subscribe to my channel.

And of course, turn on the notification bell.

So now I'm headed to one of my favorite places to go in georgetown, listen I'm, a total plant mom now.

And I love stepping into re wild it's like a nice little jungle in the middle of the city, it's, not a big place, it's like a pop-up boutique, but I absolutely love it.

I love the view.

I love where it's located and I love, of course, the plants.

And of course, these plants are for sale.

So if you're interested and you're going to be in georgetown pop on in they're, very reasonable and they're cute.

So finally, I'm going to show you one last place, that's, really not on my list I've been here before.

But I still want to show you guys because I did take a little bit of footage and it's.

The cno canal, I'm going to show you the bridge that I've studied on before.

And this seems to be a very popular hangout for a lot of young folks.

People come here, of course, to eat lunch and just really chill or or bake in the sun, I'm, an island girl.

So I like my water, clear so that's a little bit too dark and murky, um, yeah.

So that's, why I didn't really put it on my recommendation list, but it's still something you should see if you come to georgetown and I met this young lady, she was telling me where to find some graffiti on the wall.

And she thought it was going to be really interesting.

She was really sweet and I'm gonna show you my photo that I took when I was on that bridge this very bridge.

And there, I am hope you guys enjoyed this video, don't, forget to give it a big thumbs up, leave comments down below.

And of course, subscribe to my channel.

So you can be officially a part of rogue nation.

I'll, see you guys next week, wednesday at one o'clock, easy standard time right here.

Bye.
